About Martin.
Dr. Martin Wanendeya is an award-winning dental implant dentist with a passion for restoring smiles and transforming lives. After qualifying from Bristol University, he gained extensive experience in dental practices across London and the South East before co-founding Ten Dental with his partner, Nik Sisodia.
For over twelve years, Martin has focused exclusively on implant, reconstructive, and aesthetic dentistry, working closely with referring dentists and colleagues to provide tailored solutions for patients needing anything from a single dental implant to a complex full-mouth rehabilitation. He takes great satisfaction in helping people regain confidence in their smiles, whether through a simple tooth replacement or a multi-layered, intricate restoration. His approach is centred on keeping patients informed and involved throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they feel empowered and at ease at every stage.
Teaching, mentoring and international lecturing.
Martin is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of dentists. He holds prestigious lecturing positions at some of the world’s leading dental institutions, including his role as Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Oral Implantology programme. He is also a lecturer on the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons and teaches on the Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry at Goethe University in Frankfurt. His expertise in advanced implant techniques, digital workflows, and full-arch rehabilitation has led him to lecture internationally, sharing knowledge with dental professionals worldwide.
In addition to his academic roles, Martin is the co-founder of Ten Education, where he provides specialist training in implant restoration. He is passionate about raising the standards of implant dentistry through education and remains at the forefront of the field by regularly attending postgraduate courses worldwide. His commitment to continuous learning ensures that both his patients and the dentists he trains benefit from the latest advancements in modern dental care.
